VVerbCount

Text Analyzer

Analyze any text — counts, keywords, readability, and reading time in one place.

Paste any text to analyze it in one place: word, character, sentence, paragraph, line and page counts, keyword density, repeated phrases, a readability score, and estimated reading and speaking time — all updating live as you type.

Everything runs locally in your browser, so even sensitive documents are never uploaded, and the counts are Unicode-accurate so emoji and accented characters are measured the way you see them.

Private by design. Your text is processed entirely in your browser — it is never uploaded, logged, or stored on a server.

What the text analyzer measures

The Insights panel surfaces keyword density (your most-used words), repeated two- and three-word phrases, the Flesch reading-ease score and grade level, and your longest sentence. The metrics grid covers words, characters with and without spaces, sentences, paragraphs, lines, pages, letters, and reading and speaking time. Together they give a complete picture of a piece of writing at a glance.

Because each metric is defined carefully — graphemes for characters, Intl.Segmenter for words — the numbers stay consistent across emoji, accents, and scripts that don't use spaces. The Methodology page documents exactly how each value is calculated.

Who uses it, and how

Writers and editors check length, readability, and repeated phrases before publishing. SEO and content teams review keyword density and structure. Students and teachers verify assignment limits. Social and marketing teams check platform limits with the live previews. To use it, paste or type your text, read the live metrics, and open Insights for the deeper analysis — no setup, no account.

Frequently asked questions

What does a text analyzer measure?

Word, character, sentence, paragraph, line and page counts, plus keyword density, repeated phrases, a readability score and grade level, and estimated reading and speaking time.

Is my text uploaded or stored?

No. All analysis runs in your browser using JavaScript; your text is never sent to a server, logged, or stored — so it's safe for confidential documents.

How is this different from the Word Counter?

The Word Counter focuses on counts. The Text Analyzer adds the full Insights layer — keyword density, common phrases, readability — and platform previews, in one combined view.

Does it work for non-English text?

Yes for counting: words, characters, and graphemes are Unicode-aware and handle accents, emoji, and scripts like Chinese and Japanese. Readability scoring is tuned for English.
